Description
Exquisite historical Art Déco pendant with chain, made of yellow gold 585/14 carat and platinum (stamped and guaranteed).
A beautiful shield-shaped pendant in a geometric design sits on a fine platinum chain with a lobster clasp. Typical of the period, it is made of yellow gold plated with platinum and is composed of delicate openwork and millegrain beads, creating a fine pattern. The center of the pendant is adorned with a sparkling transition-cut diamond of ca. 0.2 carats (H-I, P1).
This highly elegant pendant necklace was created around 1925 and is thus a typical example of Art Déco. Geometric designs, white metals and the sparkle of diamonds were all in vogue at the time and are beautifully realized in this piece of jewelry.
Length of the necklace: 45.5 cm.
Dimensions of the pendant (incl. eyelet): 3.0 x 1.4 cm.
Diameter of the diamond: ca. 3.4 mm, ca. 0.2 ct (H-I, P1).
