Traditional Bavarian corset necklace with eleven coin pendants, made of sterling silver 925 (stamped and guaranteed).
On a long chain in pea pattern are the following 11 coins: a Bavarian silver medal with King Ludwig I and the Patrona Bavariae, a silver medal Kingdom of Bavaria 1806 - 1918, a silver medal Free State of Bavaria with Patrona Bavaria, a Bavarian silver medal framed with oak leaves with King Ludwig II and the Patrona Bavariae, 3 German marks from 1911 in cord frame with Luitpold Prince Regent of Bavaria, a Bavarian thaler with Maximilian III. Joseph and the Patrona Bavariae, 5 German marks from 1907 with King Otto of Bavaria, a double guilder with King Maximilian II commemorating the restoration of the Marian Column, 10 francs from 1967, a cord-framed 1 dollar American Eagle silver coin from 1991 and a cord-framed, undated silver medal with Maria Theresa and the inscription Documents of German History Reverse.
The beautiful chain is attached to the bodice hooks of the dirndl and is used for lacing and decoration.
The silver lacing replaced the lacing made of fabric ribbons as early as the end of the 18th century and first appeared as part of the bourgeois costume in Munich.
This bodice chain was created in Bavaria around 1950 and is a classic accessory for all those who value authentic and traditional costume.
