Eight rows of round seed pearls open into an intricately designed 20th century oval box lock on the front.andnbsp;Within it is anandnbsp;original 18th century miniature painting set in glass and framed byandnbsp;48 brilliant-cut diamonds. The brilliant-cut diamonds have a total weight of 1.2 ct andandnbsp;are ofandnbsp;beautiful medium quality (g-h, vs-si).
The miniature portrait depictsundnbsp;Prince Eugene of Savoy. The painting technique isandnbsp;presumablyandnbsp;oil on copper.andnbsp;The paintingandnbsp;is of exquisite delicacy and quality.
This bracelet combines modern goldsmith craftsmanship and ancient painting in one piece.
