Finer rarer Ouroboros Snake ring with opal, made of rose gold 585 (stamped and guaranteed).
The rectangular ring head with rounded corners is set in the center with a luminous opal. The gemstone, which appears in a typical play of colours and weighs approx. 1.5 ct, is framed by a so-called ouroboros, a snake that bites its own tail. The snake's scaly skin has been delicately engraved into the rose gold alloy and appears realistic.
The historical ring was created around 1815 and with the ouroboros as a symbol of eternity, it is a wonderful piece of jewellery for antique jewellery lovers!
