Apartes, antique necklace of the beginning of the 19th century, consisting of a diamond-studded silver pendant (tested and guaranteed) and a necklace of tiny, baroque grown seed pearls with a delicate cream-white luster. The openwork pendant captivates with enchantingly designed flower ornaments in which three rose-cut diamonds are worked in. The lower end of the pendant is formed by a cartouche which is also floral and freely oscillating. It is set with a larger, drop-shaped diamond in a strong silver setting and rose-cut typical of the period. The diamonds have a stone weight of about 0.2 carats. On the back, the necklace has a navette-shaped decorative clasp with a silver 800 plug-in mechanism (stamped and guaranteed), which is additionally set with a delicate pearl.This exquisite piece of jewellery was created around 1820 and is a charming example of jewellery fashion in classicism. With its delicate and playful design, the beautiful necklace is a collector's item for every jewelry lover! Length of the chain (incl. buckle): 45 cm.
