Historic Biedermeier snake brooch with garnets and seed pearls, crafted from 585 yellow gold (tested and guaranteed).

The pretty Biedermeier brooch is crafted in the shape of a snake and partially decorated with scales and ornaments as well as seed pearls and garnet roses. The centre part of the snake is polished smooth, creating a beautiful contrast to the filigree decorations and the gemstone setting.

The back of the piece of jewellery has a well-functioning pin with a safety catch.

The historical brooch was created around 1850 and was a very popular motif in the 19th century as a symbol of eternal life.
