Beautiful historical brooch with a finely cut shell cameo in yellow gold 333 (tested and guaranteed).

The gem representation cut into a shell shows how the Trojan hero Paris presents the love goddess Venusandnbsp;the famousandnbsp;apple and goddess Athena watches. On the far right stands Cupid as a symbol of Paris inflamed with love for Helen.

On the back, the cameo broochandnbsp;has a securely functioning pin with C hook.

The broochandnbsp;was created around 1850 and is a typical example of the enthusiasm for antiquities in the middle of the 19th century.
