Wonderful Biedermeier necklace with movable suspensions, made of yellow gold 585 / 14 Kt (stamped and guaranteed).
The high quality historical necklace has a richly decorated with tail work middle cartouche. This is set with an oval shell cameo with a lady's portrait. From this dangle two noble suspensions in ball and bulb form. The narrow chain links run in an alternating rhythm to the clasp.
The beautifully decorated box clasp is closed with a catch and can be additionally secured with a small chain.
This beautiful, high-quality necklace was created around 1850 and is an exquisite example of Biedermeier jewellery.
