Description
Fire-gilt historical bangle, probably made of copper.
This rare piece of jewellery is a typical work of the Belle Epoque and was created around 1860. An ornamental overlay set with numerous coloured and faceted glass stones in blue, red and green lines the raised front of the bracelet. A pretty rosette forms its centre.
The bangle is easy to open with a hinged clasp and to close again with a pin clasp.
As a piece of Belle Epoque jewellery, the bangle reminds us of glamorous times and is therefore a favourite piece for antique jewellery lovers!
