Beautiful antique medallion in book form, made of yellow gold 585 / 14 ct (tested and guaranteed).

The small booklet has fine ornamental engraving on the front and back and can be opened using a small hinged lock. Inside are two oval frames with original 19th century portrait photographs.

The pendant has a large eyelet that allows it to be worn on heavier chains or ribbons.

This charming antique piece of jewelry was created around 1860 and reflects the culture of remembrance and the romantic tendencies of the Biedermeier period. The individual design of the medallion as a book makes it a very special piece with a personal character.
