Description

Charming antique garnet brooch made of gold plated tombac in the shape of a large rosette.

The elaborate piece of jewellery is designed in a stepped structure and completely set with wonderfully sparkling Bohemian garnets in round and drop-shaped faceted table cuts.
The different sizes of the gemstones create an enchanting optical rhythm and a magnificent play of colours in rich red.
On the back there is a securely functioning pin with C-hook.

The historical brooch was made around 1870 and the garnets come from Bohemia. It is a traditional companion to many different styles and can be combined especially well with traditional costumes and dirndls.
