Beautiful Biedermeier medallion brooch with onyx inlay and seed pearls, made of yellow gold 585 / 14 ct (tested and guaranteed).

The andnbsp;oval medallion brooch has a stepped structure and is decorated with beads and filigree. The onyx inlay is table cutandnbsp;and decorated with aandnbsp;wreath motif of a total of 14 seed pearls.

On the back, the medallion brooch has a framing with glass inlay behind which small mementos such as photos, miniatures or locks of hair can be hidden.

A pin with a C-hook on the back guarantees a secure hold on the lapel. With the help of two eyelets, the locket can also be worn on a chain or jewellery ribbon.

The elegant medallion brooch was created in the late Biedermeier period around 1870 and is a fine example of the jewellery art of this epoch.
