Finest historical lava cameo brooch depicting the goddess of victory Nike, worked in yellow gold 585 / 14 Kt (tested and guaranteed).

The profile of Nike, the goddess of victory, is cut into the oval lava cameo with its characteristic coloring. She is depicted with ruffled robe and artfully wavy hair, around her head she wears her attribute, the laurel wreath. The lava cameo sits in a plain framing of yellow gold. The back pin with C-hook allows it to be securely fastened to the lapel.

The historic brooch was created around 1880 and reflects the enthusiasm for antiquities during the 19th century. The fine cut of the Nike depiction in combination with the plain gold framing make the brooch a sought-after object.
