Victorian Amethyst necklace made of 800 gilded silver (stamped and guaranteed).

The middle part is decorated with three oval faceted amethysts and a heart-shaped suspension with a round faceted amethyst. The bright purple gemstones have a total weight of about 12 carats.
Between the stones sits delicate floral foliage set with small seed beads. The design of the pendant is in detail particularly elaborate and lovingly designed.
The chain made of 925 silver is closed with a securely functioning spring ring.

The charming necklace was created around 1880 and is a fine example of the Victorian jewellery art of the late 19th century.
