Very beautiful Art Nouveau necklace with opals and seed pearls, crafted from red gold 333 / 8 ct (stamped and guaranteed).
The necklace is typical of the period and consists of an anchor chain with a central centrepiece. The ornamentation of the centrepiece is typical of the Art Nouveau style and is set with round opal cabochons and two fine, egg-shaped seed beads.
A cylindrical snap clasp can be easily opened and closed again.
The elegant Art Nouveau necklace was created around 1900.
Dimensions of the centrepiece: 6.5 x 3.0 cm.
Diameter of the opals: ca. 2.8 - 3.1 mm.
Diameter of the seed beads: ca. 3.2 - 3.6 mm.
Weight: 5.3 gram.
