Wonderful historical garnet necklace made of gold-plated tombac (tested and guaranteed), set with red sparkling rose-cut Bohemian garnets.

The imposing necklace consists entirely of garnet-studded rosettes, which are made larger towards the centre and decorated with fine, grape-shaped suspensions.
On the back, the piece of jewellery is closed with a well-functioning pin clasp with pusher and safety chain.

This beautiful antique necklace was made around 1900 in Bohemia. Garnet jewellery enjoyed great popularity in the 19th century, especially since the Biedermeier period, and can still be worn today with many styles and occasions, but especially with traditional costumes.
