Description

Fine historic Toi et Moi ring with two diamonds, made of 14K yellow gold (585/ 1000) and platinum (certified and guaranteed).

The head of the ring is set with two wonderfully sparkling old European cut diamonds. Its curved shape merges harmoniously into the narrow ring band. The diamonds have a total stone weight of 0.5 carats and are of beautiful quality (H-I, VS2-SI1).

The ring was created around 1910. The so-called Toi et Moi ring became famous and popular when Napoleon Bonaparte proposed to Josephine de Beauharnais with such a ring in 1796. The design experienced a revival in the first half of the 20th century. Due to its original historical symbolism, the Toi et Moi ring is still an excellent choice as an engagement ring today.
