Description
Elegant Belle Époque diamond necklace with natural pearl, made of white gold 750 / 18 ct and platinum (stamped, tested and guaranteed).
The gorgeous piece of jewellery has a finely curved pendant, which is set in the centre with a large old-cut diamond, with a stone weight of approx. 0.35 carats. The diamond is in the beautiful medium quality range (g-h/vs1-vs2). The old cut diamond is framed by nine fine sparkling diamond roses. A movable suspension with a drop-shaped orient pearl forms the lower end of the necklace.
The historical pendant hangs from a fine anchor chain with a lobster clasp. An additional eyelet ring allows it to be worn at two lengths. The chain was added later.
The fine Belle Époque necklace still has its original case from a jeweler in Detmold, where it was made around 1910.
It is a fine example of the elegant goldsmith's art of that time.
