Description
Gorgeous historical Belle Epoque brooch with a total of 353 diamonds, crafted from platinum (tested and guaranteed).
The beautiful brooch is open-worked with a filigree meander pattern and delicate, star-shaped bars. At its centre are three large old-cut diamonds totalling approx. 1.2 carats and of very beautiful quality (H-I, VS1-VS2). The meander frame is set with 298 small diamond roses totalling approx. 1.3 carats.
Finally, a total of 52 octagonal-cut diamonds totalling approx. 0.78 carats (H-I, SI1-SI2) serve as the outer frame of the brooch, creating the effect of a sparkling band.
On the back, the piece of jewellery has a very well-functioning pin setting with a C-hook and additional safety clasp.
This highly elegant antique brooch was created around 1910 and is a particularly beautiful example of the jewellery art of the Belle Époque. At this time, delicate designs reminiscent of lace were favoured, which were primarily made from white metals (preferably platinum) and set with diamonds.
Even today, the brooch can still be combined very well thanks to its clear, elegant design and conveys the glitz and glamour of that era.
