Description
Pretty seven-row traditional costume necklace, worked in silver 835 (stamped and guaranteed).
The rectangular decorative clasp is set with five rose-cut garnets and four half-round cultured pearls, backed by an ornamental lattice of vines. The seven rows of pea chains end in a pin clasp that can be opened and closed on one side.
The choker was created around 1950 and is a charming addition to traditional costume or dirndl.
Length of the chain (shortest strand): 34.0 cm.
Dimensions of the clasp: 2.7 x 2.5 cm.
Diameter of the garnet roses: approx. 2.4 mm.
Diameter of cultured pearls: about 3.1 mm.
