Beautiful Toi et Moi ring with peridot, made of yellow gold 585/ 14 ct (stamped and guaranteed).
The ring head is set with two light green, round faceted peridots of ca. 2,0 carat each. Its curved shape blends harmoniously into the elegant ring rail.
The ring, which was created around 1990, is especially captivating because of the beautifully intense shining gemstones.
The so-called Toi et Moi ring became famous and popular when Napoleon Bonaparte proposed to Josephine de Beauharnais with such a ring in 1796. Even today this shape is very popular!
