Beautiful cufflinks, each made of a 1 Ducat gold coin with the portrait of the Austrian Emperor Franz Joseph I.
The coins are made of 986 yellow gold. On the obverse they show the Habsburg double-headed eagle, on the reverse is the profile of Emperor Franz Joseph of Austria.
The coins are recent restrikes - they are dated 1915.
The coin frames and the hinged toggles of the cufflinks are made of yellow gold 585 / 14 Kt (stamped and guaranteed).
The folding mechanism makes the buttons particularly easy to put on and take off.
The cufflinks were made around 1970, they can be perfectly combined with a classic suit or traditional costume.
Length from button to bar: 1.7 cm.
Diameter of the buttons: 2,2 cm.
Weight: 13,3 grammes in total.
Condition: Very nice vintage condition, freshly cleaned, see photos.
