Description
Wonderful historical Biedermeier choker necklace with decorative clasp and 18 rows of pea chains made of partially gold-plated silver (tested, signed and guaranteed).
The heavy Bavarian choker has a gilded decorative clasp in cartouche form and is adorned with elaborate decorations. Six fine seed pearls and a red decorative stone form a central flower motif, around which corded silver wire and leaf shapes join. The choker can be opened and closed from both sides and is stamped on the back with the name of the goldsmith "C. Kircher".
The traditional costume necklace was made around 1850 in Bavaria and is a typical object of the Biedermeier period.
It can be wonderfully combined with traditional costume and dirndl and is certainly an eye-catcher.
Length of the necklace (shortest strand): 35,5 cm
Dimensions of the clasp: 6,0 x 5,2 cm.
Diameter of the seed beads: approx. 1.4 mm.
Weight: 158,9 gram.
Condition: Very good historical condition, freshly cleaned, see photos.
You will receive the choker lovingly packaged in one of our high quality cases and with certificate of authenticity.
