Wonderful classicist brooch in yellow gold 585 / 14 Kt (tested and guaranteed) set with small turquoise cabochons and an impressive rock crystal in Ceylon cut. The coat of arms-shaped brooch is executed in finely pierced Cannetille filigree. The Cannetille technique uses the finest corded gold wire, which is often used in rose and leaf motifs. In the brooch, turquoise cabochons alternate with rosettes of filigree beads. In the middle, the brooch is accentuated by a faceted rock crystal resting on a pierced setting of cord filigree loops. At the back the brooch has a safely working needling with safety toggle.
This beautiful antique piece of jewellery was created around 1800 in Austria and is an outstanding example of the high-quality and highly artistic goldsmith's work at the time of classicism.
