Fancy Danish amber bracelet by Niels Erik From, made of silver 925 (stamped, signed and guaranteed).
This charming Sixties piece of jewellery consists of five round, florally stylised links, each set with a round brown amber cabochon.
With the help of a toggle clasp, the bracelet can be easily closed and sits well on the wrist.
Born in Denmark in 1908, the trained goldsmith opened his first shop there as early as 1931. Through his characteristic jewellery art in floral or modernist style, he developed into one of the most sought-after Scandinavian goldsmiths in the 1960s and 1970s.
The bracelet was created around 1965 and is a contemporary example of the jewellery art of the sixties!
