Description
Gorgeous antique medallion pendant with seed pearls, crafted from yellow gold 585 / 14 ct (tested and guaranteed).
The historical medallion has a star on the front, accentuated with blue enamel and set in a radial frame. The center of the star is decorated with fine seed pearls.
The back of the medallion is lovingly engraved with a filigree tendril ornament.
Inside the hinged locket are two photos of a Victorian couple dressed in the typical fashion of the late 19th century. The photos can be removed if required and create space for storing personal mementos and memories.
A large movable pendant loop allows different chains to be threaded through. The pendant is sold without a chain, but we would be happy to advise you on a matching chain from our range.
The pendant originated in England around 1870 and is an adorable piece of jewelry that is also an interesting contemporary document thanks to the original photos inside!
