Wonderfully preserved, historic lava cameo bracelet made of gold-plated silver (stamped, tested and guaranteed).

The pretty piece of jewelry is set with a total of seven cross-oval and cut lava cameos, made of pressed lava stone. The individual scenes depict antique chariots as well as their drivers,andnbsp;which are propelled by a wide variety of animals.

Bracelets like this were a common souvenir of a traveler returning home from a grand tour of the ancient sites andnbsp;Greece and Italy in its time. The lava cameos are nicely cut and are inandnbsp;very goodandnbsp;condition. Theyandnbsp;have aandnbsp;different coloration, various shades of brown and ochre find here together with white and black.andnbsp;

The individual cameos are connected to each other by eyelets, and a hidden pin buckle with a catch and safety eyelet guarantees a secure fit on the wrist.

With the little black dress it is a wonderful piece of jewellery and definitely a conversation starter at every cocktail party!
