Description

Dazzling pendant with fine yellow gold pea chain 375 / 9 Kt. (stamped and guaranteed). The round pendant is decorated with openwork ornamentation typical of the time and set with peridots and seed pearls. The main piece is adorned with an oval polished peridot and two seed pearls flanking it on the left and right. A round suspension with a round polished and faceted peridot is dangling from it.
The green coloured stones have a combined weight of approx. 3.3 carats. Materials and colours complement each other phenomenally and make this delicate piece of jewellery something very special. The pendant can also be worn as a brooch due to its backside needling with C-hook clasp.
It was created around 1890 in England and is a prime example of Jugendstil goldsmithing - an absolute collector's item and a noble companion.
