Description
Individual historical medallion made of silver 935 (stamped and guaranteed) with a wonderful finish of translucent enamel and guilloche technique. The round, hinged medallion is flat and decorated on the front and back with purple translucent enamel on a fine guilloche ground. On the show side, a wreath of marcasites sets a sparkling accent. The pendant can be attached to a chain of your choice by means of a movable eyelet. Inside there are two frames for small pictures or other personal memorabilia.
The charming medallion was created around 1920 and is a distinctive companion for every antique jewellery lover. Through the fine use of enamel and guilloche, it is reminiscent of the famous ceremonial eggs that Carl Fabergé made at the end of the 19th century as court jeweller at the Russian tsar's court.
