Description
Decorative Fischland bracelet, made of silver 835 (stamped and guaranteed) and set with seven rectangular cabochons made of polyamber.
For the production of the so-called Polybern, polyester resin is mixed with amber pieces under high temperatures and fused together.
Between the honey-coloured stones sit highly rectangular, geometrically open-worked links, which are flexibly incorporated into the design and, thanks to their curvature, fit comfortably around the wrist. The bracelet is easy to open with the help of a wide hook clasp, while an additional safety chain provides the necessary hold.
The typical Sixties bracelet was created around 1960 and belongs to the so-called Fischland jewelry, which is characterized by its designs made of amber and silver in combination with maritime motifs and signed with the characteristic fish hallmark.
Despite the use of the artificial material, Fischland created stylish designs with a cool, coherent design.
Dimensions of the bracelet (incl. clasp): 20.0 x 2.5 cm.
Dimensions of the polyamide stones: approx. 24.2 x 10.8 mm.
