Description
Large traditional costume necklace in partially blackened sterling silver 925 (stamped and guaranteed), made of three rows of garland-shaped pea chains on the sides and seven rows of garland-shaped pea chains in the middle. The necklace is decorated with an openwork central cartouche of tendril motifs, the centre of which is decorated with a large facetted garnet in a gilded frame. Two further round rose-cut garnets and two frame-mounted cultured pearls set fine accents. Three freely movable cultured pearls shimmering in fine white, which form the lower end, are particularly charming. At the back the necklace has a safely functioning spring ring with an adjustable chain.
This attractive vintage necklace was created around 1960 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. It is an excellent addition to traditional costumes and beautifies every Dirndl décolleté.
