Beautiful Biedermeier necklace, made of foam gold 585 / 14 Kt (tested and guaranteed). The elongated links of the necklace are sculpturally formed from floral forms typical of the period and lead in the middle to a triangular cartouche, which is also composed of floral ornament. In the centre there is a charming flower motif of eleven turquoises in cabochon cut and radiant blue. A pendulum-shaped suspension, which is connected to the cartouche by two fine chain strands, forms a beautiful conclusion. The necklace is closed with an engraved box buckle with a very well functioning plug-in mechanism.
This dreamlike antique piece of jewellery was created around 1850 in Germany and reflects the typical formal language of the Biedermeier period. It can be combined perfectly with traditional costume and Dirndl and is then as now a beautiful eye-catcher.
