Description
Wonderful Biedermeier jewellery ensemble, consisting of a pretty brooch in four-piece oval shape and a matching pair of earrings, both made of gilded silver (tested and guaranteed).
The vividly carved jewellery pieces in curved form are decorated with applied floral motifs and each set with a small glass bead. The brooch has a C-shaped pin on the back and the earrings have classic hoop braids.
This exquisite historic jewellery set originates from Graz, Austria, circa 1850, and is housed in its original leather-bound case lined with dark blue velvet and satin.
The jewellery is in particularly good condition and makes an excellent addition to traditional costume or a modern simple outfit.
Dimensions of the brooch: 3,5 x 3,1 cm.
Dimensions of the earrings incl. hoop: 2,1 x 1,4 cm.
Diameter of the seed beads: ca. 2,5 -3,3 mm.
Weight: 8,1 grammes in total.
Condition: Very good historical condition, one bead is a little worn, freshly cleaned, see photos.
