Wonderful historical brooch in rococo style made of gilded silver 800 (stamped with greyhound head/Austria, official hallmark and guaranteed). The beautiful brooch is formed in openwork tendril ornament from volute motifs and vegetable forms. The centre is accentuated by a wonderful facet cut, high oval green tourmaline, the frame of which is set with a wreath of fine seed pearls. A heart-shaped pendant, also set with an exquisite green tourmaline and accentuated by seed pearls, is movably attached underneath. On the back the fine piece of jewellery has a simple needling with C-hook.
The noble brooch in rococo style was created in Graz around 1890. It is a classic and stylish addition to classic outfits and goes wonderfully with traditional costumes and dirndls.
