Ear nuts white gold 585 / 14 ct or white gold 750 / 18 ct.
Description
Stunning historical Art Deco earrings made of platinum (tested and guaranteed), each set with a large drop-cut aquamarine. The two sky-blue aquamarines of approx. 14.0 carats are set in a tulip shape and connected by long platinum eyelets with classic clip-on cups. Between the eyelets are three square set and three brilliant-cut diamonds in transitional cut, which provide additional sparkle. The diamonds have a stone weight of approx. 0.45 carat and are in the medium quality range (h-i, si2). Mille grip beads, typical of the time, set fine, punctual accents. The simple plugs with butterfly hairstyles ensure that the beautiful ear jewellery sits securely, but nevertheless freely swinging on the ear. The ear nuts were added later and are made of white gold 585 / 14 ct or white gold 750 / 18 ct (each stamped and guaranteed).
These wonderful earrings were created around 1935 and come from Hamburg. They are typical representatives of the jewellery art of Art Deco, which is characterized by the highest elegance and luxury. Cool, geometric designs reflect the formal language and style of the time, which, influenced by new technical achievements and a departure from the sometimes extravagant designs of historicism, set on purist splendour.
