Description

Special silver chain, partly gold-plated (stamped and guaranteed). The chain has the motive of two mythical creatures, which lie down from the neck of the wearer over her shoulders. The heads of the reptiles come together above the clavicle by pushing each other with their big nostrils a golden ball. This design is a very special work: The heads of the animals are fine and chiselled in different degrees of depth and their bodies are made of many individual, interlocked silver links. These are alternately polished and chased and thus mimic the smooth shine of the skin of a snake. The same is true of the plug-in mechanism of the silver links, which receives the movement and associated agility of these animals. The chain can be fastened in the Naccken over a well functioning Steckschließe.
It was created around 1950 and is both an eye-catcher and a fabulous work of goldsmithing.
