Beautiful antiqueandnbsp;earrings framed in yellow gold 585 / 14 Kt (tested and guaranteed) set with finely crafted micromosaics depicting ancient ruins of Italy.

The oval mosaics areandnbsp;set in black onyx that sits in a bezel setting with cartouche shaped decorations. On the back, the earrings have clip bristles that work very well.

The historicalandnbsp;earringsandnbsp;were made in Italy around 1850. Fine micromosaics like these, have been artfully assembled from numerous tiny fragments of glass. Especially during the 19th century, specialized production of these fragile works of art developed in Italy's historic sites, particularly Rome and Florence.
