Wonderful antique Pietra Dura brooch in rose gold 750 / 18 Kt (tested and guaranteed).

An exceptional brooch depicting a precisely crafted vine with leaves and grapes, worked in the finest polychrome Pietra Dura technique on a black ground.
The Pietra Dura work sits within an elegant corded frame. On the back the brooch has a simple needling with a C-hook.

This charming piece of jewelry was created in Italy around 1870.
The historical Pietra Dura inlays were very popular travel souvenirs from the Grand Tour, for example from Florence or Rome, at that time.

Diameter of the brooch: 4,3 cm.
Diameter of the Pietra Dura: approx. 37 mm.
