Large vintage Cleopatra-style necklace in gold-plated sterling silver 925 (stamped and guaranteed).
The mid-century necklace, typical of the period, consists of elongated, lamellar links arranged in size. The chain links are decorated on the front with a refined structure that creates an attractive meandering pattern.
The piece of jewelry is closed with a solid lobster clasp. It can be adjusted in length using an eyelet strand.
The fashionable and still current statement necklace was created in Italy around 1970. With her role as Cleopatra, Elizabeth Taylor triggered a veritable Egyptian euphoria in 1963 and, with her film, had a great influence on the fashion of the time.
