Description
Rare Mexican vintage design bracelet by Los Ballesteros, made of sterling silver 925 (stamped and guaranteed as well as company logo).
The heavy, solid bracelet consists of eight square links whose opposite corners are curved upwards. The shiny, polished links are connected to each other in a movable manner by pins and the curved shapes create interesting light reflections.
The bracelet can be put on and taken off using a push-button clasp. A safety chain is also attached.
The avant-garde design of the bracelet reflects the design language of the 1960s and the preference for clear and geometric designs in this decade.
It was created around 1955 in the Los Ballesteros workshop, which was founded by Jalil Majul Ballesteros in Iguala, Mexico, in 1937. In the 1950s, the business was transferred to smaller family workshops in the Taxco area and the pieces were labeled "Talleres de los Ballesteros".
Inner circumference of the bracelet: approx. 18.5 cm.
Width: 2.4 cm
Weight: 94.1 grams.
Condition: Worn vintage condition, freshly cleaned and polished, see photos.
You will receive the bracelet lovingly packaged in one of our beautiful gift bags and with a certificate of authenticity. Please note: Vintage or antique jewelry items are worn objects that may show slight signs of wear due to their history.
