Description
Exquisite ladies' wristwatch from the Art Deco period, made of yellow gold and silver (stamped, tested and guaranteed), the movement with manual winding. This extravagant watch is made in the Egyptian style and has a yellow gold 750 / 18 Kt case decorated with black and blue enamel. It also has a fine tendril and leaf ornamentation and encloses an almost square dial with black Arabic numerals and hour and minute display. The clock is running well and accurately. The filigree bracelet in yellow gold 585 / 14 Kt is made of floral-ornamental links on both sides of the case, which then merge into plain geometric segments towards the clasp. The wristwatch is closed with a buckle with safety shaft and an additional silver safety chain.
This beautiful piece of jewellery was created in the 1920s during the Art Deco era and embodies the highly elegant formal language of this epoch. It is a quality product of the Mido brand, which was founded in Switzerland in 1918 and quickly made a name for itself with its contemporary designs.
