Description
Wonderful Art Déco earrings in 750 / 14 ct yellow gold and platinum (tested and guaranteed), each set with three diamonds. The diamonds, in old and transitional cut, are set in Millegriffes baskets, the upper edge is platinum. Between the three settings are movable bars. The diamonds have a stone weight of approx. 1.5 carats and are in the medium quality range (i-j, vs2-p1), graduated in the setting. Millegrip beads typical of the period set fine, punctual accents. Hook cuts with safety clip ensure that the beautiful ear jewellery sits securely but still freely swinging on the ear.
These wonderful earrings were created around 1910 and come from Munich. They are typical representatives of the jewellery art of Art Deco, which is characterized by high elegance. Clear, geometric designs reflect the formal language of that time, which, influenced by new technical achievements and a departure from the sometimes extravagant designs of historicism, set on purist splendour.
Total length of the earrings: 2.2 cm.
Diameter of the 6 diamonds in old and transitional cut: approx. 2.8 - 5.4 mm, total approx. 1.5 ct, colour approx. i-j, purity approx. VS2-P1.
Weight: additional 4.6 grams.
Condition: Wonderful historical condition with finest traces of wear, 3 diamonds slightly chipped, freshly cleaned, see photos.
You will receive the earrings lovingly packed in our high-quality case and with a certificate of authenticity.
Please note: Vintage or antique jewellery is a worn object which may show slight signs of wear due to its history.
