Lavish vintage necklace made of white gold 585 / 14 kt (stamped and guaranteed), consisting of three rows of fine pea chains, which lead into a delicate box lock with latch and safety shaft on the backside. The highlight of the design is a drop-shaped pendant, set with a sensational noble opal in a drop-shaped cabochon cut. The gemstone has a stone weight of approx. 5.0 carat and shows its characteristic play of colours, through which it seems to glow from the inside out. The pendant gets a special elegance by a decorative element of diamonds, which forms its upper end. Six brilliant-cut diamonds and three trapeze-cut diamonds set sparkling accents here. The diamonds have an additional stone weight of approx. 0.45 carat and are in the upper quality range (d-g, vvs). To the left and right of the pendant there are also two pretty opal beads that bundle the fine chain strands and thus provide additional sophistication.
This wonderful necklace was created around 1970 and comes from Munich. It is a high-quality companion and an absolute eye-catcher for special occasions.
