Description
Beautiful and very rare rococo ring, made of yellow gold 750 / 18 ct (tested and guaranteed) and set with a heart-shaped garnet in table cut.
The red glowing garnet heart (approx. 0.4 ct) and sp sp;in a typical contemporary setting, closed at the bottom, is flanked by two small diamond roses.
The gorgeous historical ring was created around 1760 in Nuremberg during the rococo period and is a very beautiful example of the sentimental jewellery art of this long past epoch.
Measures of the ring head: 1.2 x 0.6 cm.
Width of the ring rails at the back: 0.2 mm.
Ring size: 55 / 17,5 mm.
Measures of the garnet in heart cut: approx. 5,4 - 5,7 mm, approx. 0,4 ct.
Dimensions of the 2 diamond roses: 1.5 x 1.5 mm, add. approx. 0.02 ct.
Weight: 1,3 gram.
Condition: Good historical condition, immediately wearable, but due to its historical delicacy no ring for everyday use.
