Description

Pretty antique goitre necklace made of silver (tested and guaranteed) with fine garnet trimming. The crop chain is made of six rows of pea chains, which are kept parallel by three integrated bars. It is closed at the front with a floral clasp with a plug-in mechanism, which is set in the middle with five dark red sparkling rose-cut garnets. The gemstones sit in flower-shaped settings and are complemented by three freely movable suspensions.
The charming crop necklace was created around 1850 in Nuremberg and is a perfect complement to traditional costume and Dirndl.

Length of chain (shortest strand): 35 cm.
Buckle dimensions (incl. suspensions): 4.0 x 3.1 cm.
Diameter of the grenade: approx. 2.2 - 3.3 mm.
Weight: 53.0 grams.
Condition: Very nice condition, traces of wear at the back of the clasp, freshly cleaned, see photos.
