Beautiful, luminous opal ring in 375 / 9ct yellow gold (stamped and guaranteed).
The oval, flower-shaped ring head is set with an oval cabochon-cut opal in the centre, which is surrounded by 12 smaller round opal cabochons. The opals come from Australia and have a beautiful colour and opalesce in all the colours of the rainbow. Together, the fine stones have a stone weight of approx. 2.0 carats.
A simple, smooth ring band rounds off the elegant design perfectly.
This enchanting piece of jewellery was created in Sheffield around 1960 and is an absolute highlight on the finger.
