Gorgeous brooch in white gold 750 / 18 ct (stamped and guaranteed) in the shape of a flying swallow, completely set with 130 brilliant-cut diamonds with a stone weight of approx. 2.45 carat. The diamonds are of beautiful color and quality (vs - si / i). At the back the brooch has a safe working pin with safety slide.
The swallow has been the symbol of the goddess of love, Aphrodite, ever since she was active. It was particularly popular in the 19th century during the Victorian era. The swallow became a symbol of hope and recurring love with its constant arrival in spring. At the same time the swallow has something playful about it, it marks a new beginning and therefore also developed into a sign of young love.
This delightful piece of jewellery adds a wonderfully elegant accent to many outfits and styles.
