Description
Lovely brooch made of tombac (tested and guaranteed) with miniature painting on porcelain. The brooch has a rectangular format with rounded corners. The miniature shows a small colourfully dressed boy who is secretly hiding in a dark corner and helping himself to grapes on the vines. A sweetly stealthy look at the shoulder unmasks the grape thief. The simple tombac framing is finely chiselled. On the back the brooch has a pin with a C-hook buckle with which it can be easily attached to clothing.It was made around 1840 and is a humorous accessory that can be combined with different styles and can conjure a smile on your face every day.
