Beautiful bangle by Theodor Fahrner made of gold-plated sterling silver (stamped and guaranteed as well as manufacturer's hallmarks).
The bangle is set with 26 rose-cut marcasites, which - grouped oval and slightly raised - form the center of the design. All around, the bangle is decorated with the cordell soldering characteristic of Fahrner filigree jewelry. The bangle can be securely put on and taken off with a hidden pin clasp and safety shaft
Theodor Fahrner from Pforzheim and later his successor Gustav Braendle knew how to make artistically convincing designs and quality workmanship the hallmark of their jewelry pieces in the Art Nouveau and Art Deco eras like hardly any other jewelry manufacturer.
The pretty bangle was created around 1935 in the renowned bijouterie Theodor Fahrners from Pforzheim and is a piece of jewelry that still fits many styles today.
