Traditional ladies Charivari / skirt plug made of silver 835 (stamped and guaranteed), worked from two rows of tank chains, each ending on both sides in an openwork hook, which is decorated with a stylized Bavarian coat of arms and serves for hanging in the belt or skirt waistband. In addition there are two charming pendants on the hooks, a small acorn on the left and a coin with a motto on the right. Several hunting trophies and other pendants adorn the Charivari in the middle: a 1/2 German Mark coin, a deer toe, in the centre a hunter motif with killed game and three pendants (including two Grandeln), deer caretaker and two bird claws framed in silver oak leaves.
The pretty vintage skirt plug was created around 1950 and is a nice addition to traditional costume and Dirndl. Length of the Charivaris: 20 cm.
Length of hooks: 3,2 cm.
Length of the central motif: approx. 7.0 cm.
Weight: 83.0 grams.
Condition: Very nice vintage condition, freshly cleaned, see photos.
